Dr. Eva Wong was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia, she completed her Master of Education in Visual Function and Learning, and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pacific University in Oregon, where she graduated with honours.
Her experiences include diagnosing and co-managing eye diseases at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida, providing comprehensive eye care and contact lens care at the Alaska Eyecare Center in Anchorage, as well as co-managing refractive laser and cataract surgeries at a large surgical center in Tigard, Oregon. She has also volunteered in numerous Special Olympics vision screenings and has participated in an eye care mission trip to Nicaragua.
Dr. Wong continues to expand her knowledge in optometry by regularly attending continuing education courses and conferences, learning the latest technologies and research in eye care. She is pleased to bring her knowledge and skills to her patients at Tsawwassen Optometry.
